  • Time 14:00 - 15:00
  • Fee Free
  • Location FOMU

The Kaiserpanorama is a masterpiece of the FOMU collection that is once again on public display, after a thorough restoration, in the exhibition No Longer Not Yet. Katja Mater and the FOMU Collection. Every first Sunday of the month, you can see the Kaiserpanorama in motion.

Created in 1905, it was then a modern machine, an 'automaton', designed to bring a photographic spectacle in 3D to a mass audience. The stools surrounding the viewing box can seat 25 people at a time to enjoy the magic of three-dimensional images.

Every first Sunday of the month, you can see the Kaiserpanorama in motion. Experience how the Kaiserpanorama was used in the early 20th century. Take a seat on one of the stools and watch the stereo images one by one as they rotate. It takes about 15 minutes to see all the images.
