The Kaiserpanorama is a masterpiece of the FOMU collection that is once again on public display after a thorough restoration, in the exhibition Grace Ndiritu Reimagines the FOMU Collection. Every first Sunday of the month, you can see the Kaiserpanorama in motion. .

Created in 1905, it was then a modern machine, an 'automaton', designed to bring a photographic spectacle in 3D to a mass audience. The stools surrounding the viewing box can seat 25 people at a time to enjoy the magic of three-dimensional images.

Every first Sunday of the month, you can see the Kaiserpanorama in motion. Experience how the Kaiserpanorama was used in the early 20th century. Take a seat on one of the stools and watch the stereo images one by one as they rotate. It takes about 15 minutes to see all the images.
