Van maandag 12 tot en met vrijdag 16 mei zit het kookprogramma Dagelijkse kost in een museumjasje. Speciaal voor de Week van de Belgische Musea zijn alle gerechten geïnspireerd op  museumwerken. Op dinsdag 13 mei kan je zien hoe de makers van Dagelijkse Kost zich lieten inspireren door de expo van Lee Miller in FOMU. 

FOMU and Abel Kleinblatt collaborated on a short mini-series on 19th-century photographic techniques. The series is on display in the Early Gaze exhibition. In the videos, Abel Kleinblatt explains some of the most well-known photographic processes, from daguerreotypes to albumen printing.

FOMU is proud to announce a new publication: Trigger 6: Assemblies. After five years as a magazine, Trigger has now transformed into an annual book series, introduced with a new format, design, and rhythm. Our new book is published by the end of October 2025.  

EARLY GAZE documents the birth of Belgian photography, from the very first mug shots to groundbreaking imagery in the arts, medical science and justice. It shows how an elite pastime grew out to become a powerful tool for capturing, controlling and constructing identity.  

FOMU and creative agency Mutant™ again join forces for FOMUTATIONS, an experimental format of in depht talks by internationally renowned image makers. They challenge existing perspectives on visual culture and spark debate—an innovative format that encourages dialogue and new ways of seeing. 

For the third time, FOMU, ILA Foundation, and Het Bos join forces to give emerging visual talent a powerful platform. In this new edition, four artists are invited to present their work in a group exhibition at Het Bos and to engage in dialogue with each other and the public during ChitChat & Print Sale at FOMU.
