FOMU NIGHTS: DIS MON NOM

As part of the exhibition Her Voice - Echoes of Chantal Akerman, FOMU invites Dis Mon Nom to let the voices of multidisciplinary artists and collectives resonate within the museum walls, offering spaces of collective intimacy where people are able to express themselves and find common ground.

During this FOMU NIGHT, the body will serve as both a vessel and a receptacle of emotions. Dis Mon Nom’s guests will inhabit the space, integrating it into their practices by inviting you into their intimacy and sincerity

FOMU NIGHTS

FOMU is a place not only for looking but for doing, feeling and sharing. FOMU NIGHTS take us deeper into the topics raised by the exhibitions. We invite partners who work with these themes and add a unique, celebratory spirit to the evenings. From performances and discussions to food and afterparties, every FOMU NIGHT is different. More than exhibition openings, these are open evenings where you are free to explore, create and experience. The exhibition, the shop and the cafe are open the entire evening.

HER VOICE - ECHOES OF CHANTAL AKERMAN

Manon de Boer, Moyra Davey, Gabby Laurent, Frida Orupabo, Joanna Piotrowska, Collier Schorr and Carmen Winant explore what it means today to be a woman, artist, mother, daughter and lover.
